a) antes de substantivos (nouns) Ex:I have a new car. ( Eu tenho um carro novo.)
b) e depois de alguns verbos, que fora o to be, expressam sentido:
to be = My car is new!
get = I'm getting hungry.
become = As the film went on, it became more and more boring.
seem = Your mother seems very nice.
Sometimes we use two or more adjectives together. Opinion adjectives (nice, beautiful) usually go before fact adjectives (new, large, round, wooden).
Ex: I bought a nice new house.
